True Heart
You reached in that very first moment we met and softly released a vulnerability in me that is guarded ever so tightly. Without knowing it you touched me with your uncomplicated openness and the softness of a true heart.
A quiet place
In the first light of each day, nourish your spirit with prayer, then pull anchor in your imagination and journey to a place where all cries “yes” to limitless possibilities….dare to be still enough to fly…….if only for a moment. When the sun gives its last breath, remember the place of quietness we found in each other where we drank of fresh air and felt heaven’s touch…..Your slumber will take you there, for in them we are together. For now let their magic surround you because they know the way back to each other
Silence
A softness rises up within me when I hear your voice or direct my thoughts around you with a quiet thanks to God.The reality looking at us from the heart is lovingly blessed. It is seeing from within that calms the spirit and feeds a growing love.
Regardless
Always remember that regardless of where our journey’s take us, there will never be a day when I do not love you or a second when I do not think of you.
Glimmering Stream
Underneath the surface day to day mania, our love runs as a glimmering stream.
You are a precious gift that just
IS
You are the soft space of peace right before
the first kiss of a new day.
Fate’s Kiss
I learned that in listening to the reality of others instead of adhering to my own, almost caused me to throw away a very special gift..YOU.
I learned that by accepting what is, it is the pathway to what will be.
If it’s meant to be, it will be kissed by fate’s own hand and softly guided by her own blessed timing.
Do you believe in Fate?
The question is…Does Fate believe in you?
All things are by Fate, but one must not only see part of the chain or
the nearest link, but reach up to that equal beam which poises all above.
God overrules all mutinous accidents, brings them together under His laws of Fate and makes them all serviceable to His purpose.
A WISH
I wished for you as the tail comet flew by………
I knew you would arrive in a timing other than my own.
A timing when all would be grounded within my spirit to receive such a treasure longed for.
Sonnet #CXVI
Let me not to the marriage of true minds admit impediments.
Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds,
or bends with the remover to remove; O, no!
it is an ever-fixed mark, that looks on tempests
and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
whose worth’s unknown,
although his height be taken.
Love’s not Time’s fool, through rosy lips and cheeks
with his bending sickle’s compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
but bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error or upon me proved,
I never writ,
nor no man ever loved.

Going up? The key is look for a love-affair that gets better with time, admiration brightening, trust that grows through storms.
“With this one person I saw that intense intimacy and joy were possible for me. I used to think those were my own special needs, my personal signs of a soul mate. Now I think they may be everyone’s, but that we despair of finding them, we try to settle for less. How dare we ask for intimacy and joy when a lukewarm lover and mild happiness are the best we can find? Yet in our hearts we know that lukewarm will turn cold; mild happiness will become a kind of nameless sadness, nagging questions; Is this all there is, is this the love of my life, is this why I’m here? In our hearts we know there must be more and we long for the one we never found.
So often half a couple is trying to go up, the other half is dragging down. One walks forward, the other makes sure that for every two steps ahead they take three steps back. Better to learn happiness alone then to make a dull compromise.
A soul mate is someone who has locks that fit our keys and keys that fit our locks. When we feel safe enough to open the locks, our truest selves step out and we can be completely and honestly who we are; we can be loved for who we are and not who we’re pretending to be. Each unveils the best part of the other. No matter what else goes wrong around us, with that one person we’re safe in our own paradise.
Our soul mate is someone who shares our deepest longings, our sense of direction. When we’re two balloons and our direction together is up, chances are we’ve found the right person.
Do we agree on everything? It doesn’t matter if we agree or not, whose right, whose wrong. What matters is what goes on between the two of us……are we always changing, growing and loving each other more? That’s what matters.
Things around us – houses, jobs, cars – they’re props, they’re the settings for our love. The things we own, the places we live, the events of our lives; these are empty settings. How easy to chase after settings and forget the diamonds. The only thing that matters, at the end of our stay on earth, is how well did we love.”
my comment is Through out our lives, we connect with many people on so many wonderful levels. Each one unique. Each one a Blessed gift. It’s impossible to expect one single person to be ALL THINGS for another person forever. A wise person said…a good relationship is when both remain individuals, yet walk in the same direction towards a common goal.
