Do you want others to like you? Then ask yourself one question,

do YOU like you?

Do You enjoy being alone with You?

If not, then work on your relationship with you by embracing You in all that you already are here and now. (wobbly bits an all)

That’s a BIG one packed with power.

BELIEVE!

OK, now that’s all said and done, there’s another aspect to believing in yourself that doesn’t get the attention as much and that is, what about when everything is going right?

Yes, you read correctly.

The seemingly lucky ones have problems too that are just as valid.

So what about when you’ve finally reached a path you know without a glimmer of doubt that you are suppose to be on and there in the distance lays enormous success, all yours….and…… you freeze up?

I’ve seen people jeopardize their own success out of  hidden fear of the uncomfortable responsibility which very often comes with it.

Some people are just as afraid of success as they are Public Speaking because it puts them in front of the spotlight (literally) and with it comes enormous responsibilities they never had before. It’s far easier to make excuses or place blame or unintentionally jeopardize success in order to stay put in life where it’s so comfortably easy.

Answer? There is no psycho babble response other than…Get over it.

When you’re offered that much success, take a breath, hire an assistant, or a whole team to take care of those responsibilities for you and if needed a good therapist.

Point being, there are always options and solutions other than the ones you’re sitting on the sofa with right now.

If you take one step forward towards ANYTHING..I mean ANYTHING you love to do (and don’t logic your way out of it either)…a path will unfold before you and one you can handle.

Best place for answers is the space in-between sleep and awake. It’s when your mind is most rested and uncluttered. The nano second you wake up stay still and tune into the answers has they unfold. It really works!

Personally I have learned repeatedly that God sees the Big Picture in our lives. I believe it’s best to trust that HE has a much better “visual” of the Cinerama Dome of our lives than we could ever imagine. God will never give you anything you can’t handle.

After all doesn’t He have the complete view from above it all?

But seriously, YOU have take the first step.

Look, if you like where you’re at – Bravo! If not, give yourself a break and bust a fearless move forward. Perhaps read an actual inspirational book instead of the internet?

Everyone around you believes in you, (ok maybe not EVERYONE, but I’m certain there is at least 1 person who does) God himself believes in you so why not hop on the Believe in You Bus too?

I mean seriously, what’s the worst that can happen?

Braveheart – If William Wallace can change the course of history for an entire country on a horse while wearing a skirt, armed with only passion and a sword – then what’s our excuse for not accomplishing our dreams, goals??

Do not listen to those who say “it’s not done that way”. Maybe it’s not. Do it anyway.

Do not listen to those who say “you’re taking a chance”.  Did Michelangelo  listen?

Most important, do not listen when the little voice of fear inside you rears it ugly head and says “they’re all smarter than you out there, they’re all more talented, taller, thinner, prettier, luckier and they all have connections. They have a cousin who took out Meryl Streep’s baby sitter.

I firmly believe that if you follow a path that interests you, not to the exclusion of love, sensitivity and cooperation that you can move others by your own efforts and do not make success or failure the criteria by which you live……..

The chances are you’ll be (and probably already are) a person worthy of your own respect.
