About

Please note: There is no relationship between any of the other 120,000,00 Internet references for  (Second Heaven) or the meaning of what I’ve referred to as “Second Heaven”  for the last 16 years.

I’ve been asked by authors doing research for their books, to contribute thoughts in the areas of Hope, Happiness, etc. Some of what is in this site are excerpts from those honored requests.

So what makes me an expert? LOL – Far from it and having earned MA in Human Psychology doesn’t make me one either. I just “paid attention” to learn some (life) lessons.

When we feel flattened to the pavement of life’s bumps, we all have a choice – lay there and be destroyed, or pay attention to what is obviously an incoming lesson and move forward.

Seconds before my mother died, she was only concerned about 2 things.

Her relationship with her loved ones, and her relationship with God. A new career, car, more money, house, did not matter.

It was in that blessed moment of hers that changed the way I’ve looked at things…forever. So in 1993, I titled that “space” she was in as Second Heaven. An emotional, mental, spiritual and even physical “view point” on life itself.

I still have dark, blind and stupid human moments – but none of us are perfect. Best to run from anyone who tells you they have it  “all together in a mistake free life” – they don’t.

We never cease growing and learning.

The only one who ever lived in perfection was Jesus.

Life is a journey we are ALL still learning from no matter how old we are, how many diverse experiences we have, how much we’ve already learned.

We will never have all the answers to everything and it’s important to never stop asking the questions with eyes and hearts wide open.
